Why I Do This Work

Thank you for being here.

If you are looking for answers, you are not alone. I know what it is like to feel lost and to reach a point in your marriage where something has to change. This page is a glimpse into my story and the work that shaped the way I coach today.

My Story

I’m Renee. I have been married for decades, and like many couples, my husband and I have had seasons where love felt easy and seasons where it felt painfully hard. Even after therapy, workshops, and personal growth, we still ended up in tension and disconnection. I know what it is like to feel stuck, to carry the emotional load, to try harder, to talk more, and still feel unheard. I became critical, controlling, and exhausted, and I did not like who I was becoming.

What Changed

When I finally committed to practising the Six Intimacy Skills™, the shift was not instant perfection, but it was real. I learned to focus on my own paper, build self-care, express gratitude, and repair quickly when I got it wrong. Over time, the warmth returned. We started to communicate differently, reconnect, and rebuild trust.

That is why I coach today. I want you to also feel the power of the Laura Doyle Six Intimacy Skills™ and the magic they can create in your marriage. By learning to practise these skills without shame and guilt you will bring self-respect, emotional safety, and intimacy back into your marriage, without forcing or controlling. This is sustainable change that will last the distance in your marriage.

I cannot wait to work with you x
